Punctuate is looking for an Industrial Design Intern to join our team in Montreal and work on products that matter, to the people who use them and to the world they'll live in. This is a hands-on role for a design student or recent graduate who wants to see how real products get made, from concept sketches all the way to parts coming off a machine. You'll be a real part of the studio, contributing to live client mandates from start to finish. We ask for 5 to 6 months so we can really get to know each other, and a strong internship can lead to an extension or a permanent role. Next intakes are flexible, let's talk about timing.

We're also glad to hear from people who bridge disciplines or have an unusual profile. If that's you, let's talk.
Punctuate Design is a physical product development studio based in Montreal, working from strategy through manufacturing. We're partners to our clients, not executors: we're invested in the product's commercial success, not just its delivery. Our zone of excellence is the emotional link between a product and its end user, held in the tension between radical creativity and executional rigor.
We're a small team where your work is real, not busywork, and where you'll see the products you touched reach the market.
Send your portfolio and a short note on what you'd like to learn during your internship. No formal cover letter. Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.
We answer every application. Interviews on a rolling basis.
